چکیده

A new supermicroporous chromium oxophenylphosphate (CPP-1) has been synthesized using phenylphosphonic acid (PPA) as phosphorus source under hydrothermal condition at 443 K without using any structuredirecting agent (SDA). The material has been characterized by powder XRD, FE SEM-EDS, TEM, TG-DTA, N2 sorption, XPS, FT IR, UV-Vis spectroscopic techniques and CHN chemical analysis. CPP-1 showed specific surface area of 313 m 2 g -1 with extra large supermicropores having dimension of ca. 1.4 nm. TEM result suggested lamellar type pore-wall structure for this material. It exhibited good catalytic property in partial oxidation of olefins in presence of tertbutylhydroperoxide (TBHP) as oxidant.

Statistical Optimization of Liquid Phase Oxidation of Benzyl Alcohol over Efficient Cobalt Promoted Vanadyl Pyrophosphate Catalysts by Box-Behnken Design

Vanadium phosphorus oxides (VPO) has been applied as a heterogeneous catalyst in gas phase oxidation reactions and its application is very limited in liquid phase. In this study a series of cobalt-doped vanadium phosphorus oxides (VPO-Co) catalysts with different loading of Co (0.01-1.0 mol ratio of Co/V) were prepared. Oxidation of benzyl alcohol was studied in the liquid phase over VPO and VP...

Selective Oxidation of Lauryl Alcohol to Lauraldehyde under Liquid-Liquid Phase Transfer Catalysis (LL-PTC) with Potassium Chromate as the Oxidizing Agent

In the present research, the selective oxidation of lauryl alcohol to lauraldehyde was studied under liquid-liquid phase transfer conditions using potassium chromate (K2CrO4) as an oxidizing agent and tetrabutyl ammonium bromide (TBAB) as the phase transfer catalyst. Chromium (VI) reagents are used in these oxidations since the alcohols are selectively oxidized <e...

Synthesis, Characterization and Catalytic Activity of a New Chromium Catalyst Supported on Nanoporous MCM-41 for Oxidation of Olefins and Alkyl Aromatics

The mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 was covalently grafted with 3-chloropropyl trimethoxylsilane and then was reacted with [Cr(salpr)(H2O)]Cl, (salpr = N,N'-bis(3-salicylidenaminopropyl)amine) to afford MCM-41 containing Cr(salpr) moiety, Cr(salpr)MCM-41. Powder X-ray diffraction and nitrogen adsorption-desorption analyses revealed that not only the textural characteristics of the support wer...

Aqueous-phase oxidation of alcohols with green oxidants (Oxone and hydrogen peroxide) in the presence of MgFe2O4 magnetic nanoparticles as an efficient and reusable catalyst

Nanomagnetic MgFe2O4 is an active, stable, and reusable catalyst for the oxidation of alcohols. The oxidation of various primary and secondary alcohols has been examined and related corresponding products were obtained in good yields. The reactions were carried out in the presence of water as solvent and oxone (at room temperature) or H2O2 (at 60 ºC) as an oxidant. The catalyst was investigated...

Simple, Practical and Eco-friendly Reduction of Nitroarenes with Zinc in the Presence of olyethylene Glycol Immobilized on Silica Gel as a New Solid–liquid Phase Transfer Catalyst in Water

Polyethylene glycol was easily grafted to silica gel and used as a solid–liquid phase transfer catalyst in the reduction of aromatic nitro compounds. This silica-grafted polyethylene glycol is proved to be an efficient heterogeneous catalyst in the reduction of nitroarenes to the corresponding aromatic amines with zinc powder in water. The reduction reactions proceeded efficiently with exce...
